I would like to introduce myself to you.

My name is Angela Hibbard, a freelance sales and marketing consultant in speciality and fine food.

Over the last ten years, I have worked with many artisan brands and I am pleased to offer my wealth of experience to help develop your business - if you are a small to medium sized fine food brand.

I am here to offer you both advice and also practical help, if you are launching new products or expanding your existing business in this sector.

HISTORY

My passion for fine food began whilst living and working in Italy, during my late teens.

In 2008, I had the opportunity to turn this passion into my career, when I joined the renowned Speciality Food Wholesaler/Distributor Cotswold Fayre, where I held the role of Regional Account Manager in the West Country.

I spent the next five years working in partnership with literally hundreds of artisan and speciality food producers; developing their businesses in food halls, garden centres, farm shops and delicatessens.

At the well-known heritage brand, Whittard, I took on the role of UK Wholesale Business Manager, implementing many new wholesale initiatives; such as organising a prominent stand at Speciality & Fine Food Fair and creating the "one-bay" visual display unit, opening up many new markets in the fine food retail sector and introducing their tea and coffee ranges to new distribution channels.  I also increased the seasonal gifting business within major national accounts, such as Debenhams, Lakeland and Waitrose.

Later, I was to join innovative tea brand, We Are Tea, where I created a gifting range. This was achieved in a very quick turnaround time, and landed on retailers' shelves in time for Christmas and with a lead time of just three months!

In 2015, I enjoyed working with renowned Mediterranean food producer, Olives Et Al, developing new gifting lines and also expanded the wholesale business and  launched new product ranges with a number of speciality and fine food wholesalers.

In the last year, I been working in partnership with a small number of speciality food businesses, including The London Deli Company, Plenty Pies and The Gorgeous Food Company, among others, helping each one develop in areas such as sales, account management, packaging, advertising and marketing.
